In college, beer pretty much works its way into your daily diet along with pizza. However, we all know that as the fund deplete beer becomes less about taste and more about necessity. You think to yourself why should I spend 20 bucks on a case when I can get more twice as much of lower quality beer, that still gets the job done. And the chances are when you choose cost of quality you’ve probably got some natural light in your hand.
Natural Light or Natty Light as most refer to it is a product of Anheuser-Busch Brewing company St. Louis, Missouri. It was first introduced in 1977 and was Anheuser-Busch’s first reduced-calorie light beer. Natty can be found in keg, can and occasionally bottle form. It costs around 10 bucks for the 30-pack.
WHEN TO DRINK NATTY
Natty is perfect for a house party, it’s cheap and doesn’t hurt so much when ton of it get spilled due to some party fouls. Natty is also great when you have friends coming over and you know that they are quite the drinker but you don’t want to pay for them to drink your good beer. Also great when your planning an evening of drinking games. Since drinking games tend to burn through alcohol quicker than normal, it’s better to stick with a less expensive beer.
WHEN NOT TO DRINK NATTY
If you bring a girl back to your place for some drinks, I suggest you don’t hand her a natty. Your better off with something with a little more class. If you looking for a beer to just sit on the back porch and enjoy the summer, this isn’t the beer for that, I ‘d suggest you go for something like Sam Adams Summer Ale instead. Let’s face it Natty is a great inexpensive beer for a huge party or giant tailgate but for anything else, it’s pretty much better spending the extra bucks and getting yourself a miller or bud.
